is now complete after something of a disappointment last friday when we found out that the Winnebego rental company didn't exist. Consequently we had to seek alternatives and fast. Stingray RV came to the rescue, despite Silverstone where the entire fleet was being used and they managed to get us something that we could use for the next three weeks. Toby and I arrived at their depot in Daventry at 3:45pm this afternoon and left at 9:10pm! I hadn't appreciated how much there is to know about an RV!!! It is now 1am and we are leaving in and hour and a half so had better get some sleep. The chunnel leaves at 05:45 but once we reach Calais we will then be on our way to Switzerland so hopefully some adrenalin may kick in. Pictures of the beast are attached.......
